Kenyan potters craft mugs that make your daily brew feel soulful. Hippo Pottery will bring that simple joy to the USA & Canada. Starting on June 15th, a one month kickstarter campaign invites orders for our first 300 mugs. We’ll then potter away and deliver them to you and your loved ones in time for the 2024 holiday season.

$1 donated to wildlife conservation for each mug. Low carbon emissions with kilns powered by Kenya’s 95% renewable electricity, and freighted by ship not plane.

The Hippo potters share their Kenyan artisanry around the world, whilst doing the work they love and securing more than a living wage.
